KFed: the editor?

Kevin Federline told Steppin' Out magazine that he is toying with the idea of entering the publishing industry. The aspiring rapper says he's "serious" about starting up a magazine called The Real, in which he would "tell the truth about not just mine and Britney's life...but everybody! It's not just us - everybody has been lied about in the tabloids," Mr. Spears says. "Everybody has false truths and false images and false stuff perceived on them. Maybe not as much as me and my wife get. But everybody has it. You know? I think a magazine like that, if there were just one magazine like that, would attract all the stars. I think they would want to go to that magazine and tell the truth! I'm not kidding. This is something I want to do for real."

Harry's good influence

Harry Morton is doing his best to be a good influence on girlfriend Lindsay Lohan. Morton's half-sister was Domino Harvey, the model-turned-bounty hunter played by Keira Knightley in a film last year, and who died about a year ago after a longtime substance abuse problem. Lohan's new beau wants her to be sober, according to a friend, and the Mean Girls actress has vowed that "she will stay away from booze altogether." Another source said, "She's not drinking. I've never seen her so healthy and happy."

Queer Eye cancelled

Queer Eye for the Straight Guy has been cancelled. "Well, we haven't been asked back for 2007," Queer Eye star Jai Rodriguez has said. "It's only been three years, but it feels like so much more than that due to the overexposure. I started when I was 23. In that first year, I was on Oprah's couch. I was on Ellen. People recognized me. JLo is a huge fan of ours." The reality show recently broke their own mold when they made over a transgendered man. "Maybe this is how we are going out with a bang," Rodriguez continued. "Everyone has new projects. I'm working on a TV show and a movie in the fall. We just had a tour of the Philippines. We are huge there. Like Michael Jackson in 1983."

Kate Hudson angry with paparazzi

Kate Hudson has spoken out about her anger over paparazzi snapping photos of her son. "The only thing that bugs me is my son," the You, Me and Dupree star said. "When people are taking pictures of your kid, he doesn't know what he wants. He is two-and-a-half years old. He doesn't choose that, and I think that's unfair. I try not to focus on it too much for his sake because that could be dangerous." Hudson remembers how her famous parents tried hard to shield her and her brother from prying photogs, saying, "If we were with my dad he was like 'not with my kids.' Nobody would ever take a picture, ever. The only time I remember it [getting out of hand] was at Heathrow Airport. It scared me because it was so weird and foreign to me."

L-Lo dropped by UK record label

More trouble for Lindsay Lohan. Her UK record label, Island Records, has reportedly fired the star after she skipped out on a planned promo campaign in London for her album. Speak, which was recorded last year, has been shelved by label execs, says an industry insider. "The single was a huge flop over here because Lindsay couldn't be bothered to promote it. In the end they didn't even bother releasing the album in Britain," the insider said. "She didn't bother to come over to the UK to do interviews or make TV appearances to help sell the album. Island have now decided not to do another one with her."
